Unfortunately, the decision has been made to shut down all previous OlexOS versions. OvalOS has been released and is quite a big project! So, in order to make way for new projects with more capabilities, some older projects need to be discontinued. The discontinuation of OlexOS 5 may be a bit shocking but OlexOS LITE has the same exact features as OlexOS 5 with a much simpler and easier design. So OlexOS LITE will not be discontinued, instead it will no longer receive any updates. 

In the end, these projects may still be accessible through the History page if you want to access them. It has been a journey working on OlexOS over the years, and it is time to bid farewell.

The following versions of OlexOS will be discontinued on September 2nd 2024:

• OlexOS

• OlexOS 2

• OlexOS 3 (Sonar)

• OlexOS 4 (Dive)

• OlexOS Mini

• OlexOS 5

The following versions of OlexOS will still be available to use after September 2nd 2024:

• OlexOS LITE

(OlexOS LITE is going to be available but may no longer receive updates)

(A OlexOS LITE emulator is available in OvalOS)

OvalOS has a OlexOS emulator in the Appstore that can be installed. This app is called: "OlexOS LITE" and is currently available or you can click the button below to launch the insecure version.
